Workshops That Build Stronger Homes and Brighter Futures

At FAHUM, education isn’t just for students—it’s for families. Through workshops on topics like parenting skills, emotional health, resilience, and values-based development, both caregivers and youth gain tools to grow, reflect, and thrive. These sessions create space for learning, support, and connection—strengthening homes and preparing young people for a brighter future.

In 2024, FAHUM hosted four workshops—three for parents and one for high school students:

  • 🏠 The Home: The First Place Where Learning Begins (July–August)
Parents explored how the home shapes a child’s values, limits, and responsibilities—laying the foundation for healthy development.

  • 💬 Emotional Health in the Family (September)
This workshop focused on the importance of emotional well-being, breaking negative cycles, and the supportive role of trained professionals who help families strengthen emotional wellness.

  • 🌱 Functional Families and Resilience (October)
Parents learned how to foster resilience in themselves and their children, and what it means to build a strong, supportive home environment.

  • 🌟 Equipping Young People with Values for the Future (November)
Held in the countryside for high school students, this workshop helped youth deepen their values, build character, and learn how to make thoughtful, responsible decisions.
(Attendance was limited to students whose parents gave permission for the field trip.)
